Hi, I'm Ewa!

Ewa Kaplarczyk
Born in '93, I've been drawing since I was a child and it's my greatest passion. I'm a true creative soul, I love creating fairy-tale images and exploring new forms of expression. My favorite technique is watercolor painting and these days I draw mostly digitally, incorporating traditional techniques into my illustrations
I feel most comfortable with the broadly understood subject of magical realism - I believe that you don't grow out of magic and it's worth introducing it into your life through art.

My main inspiration is nature and the various shades and structures it creates. I am constantly amazed by the multitude of solutions that we as humans cannot create better and I try to draw from this delight.
My second main inspiration is architecture, especially on a small scale. This probably stems from my background as an architect, but I try to incorporate "construction" elements into my illustrations. I am particularly captivated by old cottages, especially in the context of their relationship with the surroundings.
Among Polish artists, I highly value Emilia Dziubak, Maja Tomaszewska, Tytus Brzozowski and many others.

I create my own projects and collaborate with private individuals and publishing houses, including Egmont and Mamania. I have participated in the Warsaw Poster Fair numerous times as an exhibitor and in 2025, my works were displayed along the Vistula River in Warsaw and in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the PasteUp independent poster festival.
Personally, I live in a forest near Warsaw with my husband and two cats (who always want to be a part of the creative process). I'm addicted to cinnamon rolls, yoga, and good coffee.
